24 Hours to Go Broke

Description: Think you could spend £10,000 in 24 hours? Pairs of celebrities are asked to do just that in episodes of this globetrotting show. But they can't go on a shopping spree at a department store to spend the money. The participants have to follow strict rules, which include having to spend the money on madcap experiences, not being able to give it away, and only being able to spend up to 10 percent on any one activity. And each celebrity pair - one per episode - is sent to a different country, where they must spend £10,000 worth of the local currency. In addition to the strict rules, the celebrities are given contact information for three local people who may be able to help them spend the money within the deadline.
