Description: Food Network's "Donut Showdown" is taking the iconic pastry to new heights. In each episode, three doughnut makers from across the continent compete in the diner kitchen where their creativity is put to the test. The competitors create the treats using a selection of unexpected ingredients. Judges David Rocco, Maggie McKeown and Zane Caplansky taste the final products and send one competitor home. The final two then compete in a showdown with a theme chosen by the judges; the winner receives a cash prize.
