Description: Oliver Peyton is a restaurateur and an avid art collector so it's natural for him to combine his loves of food and art in this series that explores artists' relationships with food and drink, uncovering the history and stories behind food in paintings. Peyton explores the symbolism and significance of the foods that artists depict, visits the artists' homes and discovers how food was cooked at the time. "Eating Art" then heads to the kitchens of restaurants around the world, where some of the world's top chefs take inspiration from the paintings to create their own masterpieces ... on a plate.
