Follow the Rules

Follow the Rules

Description: Reality series built around the home life of rap stars is a TV subgenre often imitated, with Ice-T, Rev Run, The Game, Snoop Dogg, T.I., and Coolio among the more celebrated participants. Now, thanks to MTV's "Follow the Rules," Grammy-nominated rapper-turned-actor Ja Rule joins the club. The fame and fortune amassed by selling more than 45 million records worldwide and appearing in numerous feature films would mean nothing, he says, without the love and support of his family. Half-hour episodes co-star Ja's high school sweetheart, Aisha, whom he married in 2001; "daddy's little girl" Brittney, a junior at Hampton University; "Lil Rule" Jeff, a spitting image of his dad; middle school student/athlete Jordan; and Ja's mother, Debra, and Aisha's mother, Jean, who moved in with the family a few years ago.
