Genevieve's Renovation

Description: "HGTV Star" judge Genevieve Gorder is a design star in her own right, having built a career as a sought-after interior decorator, renovation aficionado and all-around remodeling guru. But of all the projects she has tackled, none have rivaled the one that is documented in "Genevieve's Renovation." Gorder's client is herself, as she embarks on the renovation of her home located high above Manhattan's Chelsea neighborhood. She bought the rundown place next door -- one that's been untouched for 40 years -- and the plan is to connect the two apartments to create a fabulous, spacious home for her and her daughter. Plenty of obstacles crop up as walls come down, but Gorder knows from experience that prime New York real estate always comes with a price.
