Mega Dens

Description: Every family dreams of a place in their home where the clan can watch TV, play games, or just go to relax. Interior designer Anitra Mecadon takes the idea of the traditional family rec room, turns it on its ear, then pumps it full of steroids. Customized to reflect the lifestyle of each featured family, these over-the-top sanctuaries boast state-of-the-art entertainment centers, unique gaming areas and innovative storage solutions. Anitra just doesn't come up with the plans for these wild transformations, she helps execute them as well. When she's not knocking down walls with a sledgehammer or working a power sander, she's enlisting family members for hands-on help with the renovation.
