Nashville Flipped

Description: Towing dreams of a career as a country music singer, Troy Dean Shafer moved to Nashville in 2004. But his true calling would eventually take hold not far from where he wrote music and performed in honky-tonks. Five years after arriving Shafer founded Nashville Flipped, a home-restoration business that focuses on saving the city's historic architecture from falling apart or being destroyed. This same-named series documents how Shafer rehabilitates century-old family homes, taking care to preserve their charm and integrity while incorporating modern amenities to suit today's buyers. "American Pickers" star Mike Wolfe is the creator/executive producer of the show and a friend of Shafer's.
