Capturing the skills of the sheepdog and the amazing levels of communication between the dog and handler, the programme illustrated beautifully the time-honoured traditions of sheepdog trialling, from the very first episode presented by Phil Drabble to current Christmas specials fronted by, among others, Kate Humble, Matt Baker and Gus Durmody.
