Description: On the back of the success of `Pitch Perfect' comes 'Sing: Ultimate A Cappella'. The competitive series sees 30 of the UK and Ireland's best a cappella groups interpret songs by famous artists, with no instruments and no backing tracks. Hosted by Cat Deely, the show follows the format of an a cappella competition. Each week, five groups use their vocal abilities to impress the panel of judges and pass through three rounds. The winning group progress to the final to face off against the victors from the other weeks. The winning group are offered the chance to record an album at Abbey Road Studios and release a Christmas single. Alongside the guest artists who all sing a cappella, house group The Sons of Pitches provide more music and performances, all with a microphone as their only aid.
