The Elephant Man
Description: Legendary "freak" John Merrick (Philip Anglim) has a debilitating disease that has physically transformed his features in a way that frightens and shocks any that see him. Merrick's extreme deformities leave him isolated and lonely. However, he does have a sympathetic ally, the surgeon Frederick Treves (Kevin Conway). Treves does his best to help Merrick, seeing the man inside the deformity, despite the cruel manner in which the patient is treated by society.
