Description: Survivalist Bear Grylls presents 21st-century American men with a challenge: surviving on a deserted island without the modern conveniences to which they are accustomed -- and without the promise of a prize or a winner being declared. Fourteen contestants are sent to an isolated location with only the clothes they are wearing and a few survival tools, and they must film every moment themselves, resulting in a raw and unfiltered story. The men test their mental, physical and emotional limits as they hunt and gather food, build their own shelters and rely on their strength and skills to survive.
