Description: `The Level' is a six-part crime-drama starring Karla Crome, Philip Glenister, Laura Haddock, Noel Clarke, Robert James-Collier and Amanda Burton. The story follows the double-life of Detective Sergeant Nancy Devlin. On the surface she is the model of her occupation, however unbeknownst to her colleagues she has a personal connection with corrupt businessman and drug trafficker, Frank Le Saux. Father to her best friend, Hayley, Frank has also been a father figure to Nancy since childhood. Using her position, Nancy has always been able to divert police attention from Frank's criminal activities, however when he is brutally murdered the detective's cover is compromised as she is asked to head the investigation to find the killer.
