Description: Gerald Wright runs the Baselricky Council Health & Safety Department, overseeing a team of misfits who try to do their best but seem to cause chaos in their quest to make Britain safer. It's not easy managing his co-workers, but things aren't much easier away from the job. On the homefront, Gerald lives with his daughter, Susan, and her new partner, Victoria, who turns out to be a bathroom hogger. And after getting encouragement from Susan, Gerald decides to try to get back into the dating scene. Which is difficult for anybody.
