Description: Dick Clement and Ian La Frenais are the comedy writers behind three-part sitcom `Henry IX'. The fictional series revolves around King Henry IX, who, in the modern world, attempts to make changes to his life for the better. However, on his personal journey, he must also face the many years of tradition, as well as his royal family who want the best outcome for everyone. He first attempts to abdicate the throne, believing his twenty-something son can better connect with the younger generation. His nearest and dearest, on the other hand, have other ideas.
