But "Snog Marry Avoid?" is different -- it gives people "makeunders," meaning presenter Jenny Frost takes over-the-top folks and turns them into natural beauties. Frost strips them of their skimpy clothes and layers of makeup with the help of the Personal Overhaul Device. or POD, a computer that understands beauty. The POD asks members of the public if they would snog, marry or avoid the subject, then allows the participant to pick a style based on a celebrity. Following the transformation, the POD once again asks people for their opinions of the person receiving the makeunder.
