Description: A quest to perform at a rock club is at the center of this comedy series that melds fiction with reality. Show creators Matt Johnson and Jay McCarrol star as best friends and roommates who devise a number of schemes in the hopes of getting their band booked to play a show at the Rivoli, a modest Toronto club. The duo goes to unnecessary extremes to land the gig, sometimes causing real-world madness with thousands of extras who are unaware they're on a TV show. Their adventures include sneaking a film into the Sundance Film Festival and disrupting the "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" premiere.
